They don't stick around for long but they're cute and make me smile. Cold, fun to make, colorful. Snowmen are perfect for sending with a sweet greeting on a card.
The Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog was missing a snowman set this year, so I found this one from another company. Some very loyal-to-Stampin' Up!-only-stampers call this lack of brand loyalty rubbah-dultery, but not me. I had a blast making this card with the Avery Elle Be Jolly set and matching dies, paired up with papers from the Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit.
Don't be too shocked! I still love everything Stampin' Up! I colored the hat and scarf and shaded this fella with Blendabilites. The sentiment was heat embossed in white.
I used this sketch from MOJO Monday. It is for a tall card. I love this size, mine measures 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".
I also loved how the colors fit so well with the inspiration photo at the Festive Friday Challenge. I just LOVE this look! All that yummy white with green, bright pink and a hint of gold. love.
I just studied this photo and found two pairs of slippers, and a stuffed cat and bear. It's a warm and fuzzy Christmas scene, isn't it?
Hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to those in the USA.
