I love sitting in my kitchen every morning after the breakfast rush. I nurture my cup of tea and myself a little while after everyone else has gone on their way. Next to my stash of well-loved cookbooks this hand-painted plaque sits on the shelf. It's a message that I need every day, but especially during the season of winter doldrums.
It's amazing how it became the inspiration for today's card and I didn't even know it until I brought it downstairs.
I knew that I wanted to try out the Chalkboard card stock from Stampin' Up! which works beautifully when stamped with white craft ink. Against the dense black the script looks just like it was written on a chalkboard. I love the fonts in the sentiment from the Pretty Patches: Apple stamp set.
I'm playing along at Retro sketches this week. Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I'd love to hear from you!
