At a loss for words? Me? not, no way, never!! (emphasis mine) I am however lost when it comes to finding just the right greeting to go with a card with this image from Sumer by the Sea. The pensive woman is staring at her feet adrift in thoughts that I have never quite been able to fathom. I pulled all kinds of sets off the shelf looking for the right words. 'I'm pulling for you ..' No, that would never work since the boat is not going anywhere. "Thinking of you' didn't work for me either. So, what do you think of the words I came up with? She looks like she's doing some wishful dreaming to me. :-)
Oh, you'd like me to quit rambling and get on to the card? OK. More watercoloring with my SU! markers and the aqua painter. I used a yellow highlight around the woman to create the feeling of heat. Actually, I love the play between the warm and cool colors in the Jersey Shore Designer Papers and they matched up with the colors I had used on the image pretty well. I started with a layout in mind, but when I actually had all the pieces, I moved them around until I liked them - and ended up with a layout wuite different from the first plan.
I'm late posting today, so I'll try to find myself out of words and go to make our dinner. :-)
Hope you liked this Summer's Dream...Thanks for checking in!
