Deck the halls with a mistletoe wreath! I've been wanting to create a wreath from a stamp that's NOT a wreath, so here's what I came up with using the mistletoe~yes, it is becoming my go-to stamp set~ from the set, A Cardinal Christmas.
Kendra is the featured stamper this week on SCS, I chose THIS card of hers to case. I kept the layout but turned it sideways~loved the way she used her buttons in a row under her image panel.
I got a fancy to use the Basic Gray Wassail designer paper that Emily brought home for me. I love that paper and kept my design understated ( or is it distressed, shabby?) like the paper. It is not the bold clean style I love, I am still not sure what I think of this card. Maybe it will be back to the work table a time or two until a get a wreath that I like. Creativity is a process that's for sure! Let me know what you think!
Here's the recipe~
Stamps: A Cardinal Christmas
Paper: whisper white, mellow moss, RHred, Wassail
Ink: mellow moss, RH red
Accessories: RHred taffeta ribbon, button bouquet asst, 1/4" and key tag punch, silver elastic cord
