I decided on black with red on a simple white card. Since I need thank you cards right after the holidays, there's no better time to add one to my stash! It's finally time to use my oval nestabilites and figure out how to emboss the card stock without cutting, you can see the details if you click on the photo for the larger view. I had help from my friend Ruth Ann. I'm always happy when I figure out how to use something from my stash, aren't you?
The roses were heat embossed in black as well, with red gems added to the centers. I love one layer cards - I wish I would remember more often to start simply when it comes to layers and embellishments. I finished this card and wondered if I really liked these roses in black. I'd love to know what you think!
