Summer is a delight, and so is dreaming of summer in the cold days of winter. The challenge to Stamp Something Summery in Winter was so much fun! Nothing evokes summer to me than a day to dream at the beach. You know that expression, Lif'es a beach? Well, I'm a beach - that's my last name, ya know! :D
For this beach scene I pulled out three favorites. I know you know the first two, they are watercoloring and my Pretties' Kit. My favorite retired Sweet Seasons set was lovely to explore again for this card. I used my aqua painter and re-inkers to color it in. How I love Baja Breeze and this patterned paper together. Didn't think it could get better but I was inspired by page 124 of the new catalog and threw a little More Mustard into the mix for the sand, the mat, and the pastels dabbed to color the flowers. To see more detail, click on the photo to enlarge. I added crystal effects to the sand pail, and glitter to the starfish. There you have it!
Dream a little yourself and join the challenge. Be sure to check out the other fantastic DT projects too! Have a great weekend!
