Where do you find your inspiration? The inspiration for today's card came from this beach towel featured in the Pottery Barn catalog
I loved the bold images and deep colors and had so much fun creating my own take on this design using the True Friend set. Here's my card~
I stamped the pattern on Night of Navy card stock with white craft ink, and embossed with white detail embossing powder for a bold look. I hesitate to use 'naked' chipboard but I almost always like the look when I am finished, plus making it easy as possible means I actually use it vs hoarding it! I don't have a Patriotic set, so I had to be a bit creative with the sentiment with the Simple Serif Mini Alphabet set. Hope you like it!
Supplies~
Al supplies are Stampin' Up! unless noted
Stamps: True Friend, Happy Everything, Simple Serif Alphabet & Numbers
Paper: whisper white,
real red, night of navy
Ink: real red
Accessories: Styled Silver Hodge Podge Hardware, real red striped ribbon

I love that card! I love anything patriotic! Thanks for sharing! hugs, michelle

This is fabulous Cindy!!!! You can absolutely see the inspiration in the card - it's a great card and of course I love all things patriotic - it's almost non-negotiable! ;) Love it!

Gorgeous card, Cindy! I don't have any patriotic sets either, so I love your creativity here. I love the look of the naked chipboard too!
