I know some of you were maybe wondering how I was going to fit in my four posts this week, since it's already Thursday! I wonder where the week went, how can it be almost over already? I haven't forgotten my goal of posting 4 times each week.
No worries, I've been crafting every chance I could get and now I have three Artisan projects to share with you before the week is out.
Our box of goodies included many items and lovelies on the Valentine's theme, so I jumped right in.
Although this card is simple, I think it packs a punch with the embossing technique. I used Framelits to die cut the hearts and the label, pieced them together like puzzle pieces, each fitting snuggly inside the other. After running tape across the back to hold them in place, I embossed the whole panel at one swoop through the Big Shot. I love how the pattern of the Honeycomb Folder continues through each color and unifies the design.
Our Core'dinations Card Stock in new colors is perfect for embossing and gives a deep impression. I sanded the Primrose Petals heart to add even more texture.
I'll be back tomorrow. Since it's almost midnight as I finish writing this post, it will be here in a blink! Hopefully my eyes will close for the night soon.....
