Happy Friday and hope it's going well for you!
It's time for Fab Friday Challenge 10 which is to use these luscious colors for our project.
I've been using Crumb Cake in so many of my cards recently, it's just been such an easy go-to for so many color combos. To take a break from Valentines I was happy to do some watercoloring and the Pleasant Poppies seemed just right for this birthday card. I colored using my Aqua Painter and inks, trust me, the Pink Pirouette is the base for my flowers. I love the way it blends with Cherry Cobbler to make a bright rose shade.
For the frame, I knew I wanted to use the Ovals Collection Framelits but I embossed the card stock with the Holiday Frame folder before I die cut. I did NOT get enough use out of it at Christmas and I'm convinced I can find more ways to use it all year long. In case you can't see the texture, here's a detail photo for you.
I also used the striped folder to add texture to the Crumb Cake panel.
I hope you'll check out the Fab Friday Challenge and play along and be sure to visit the amazing samples of my DT friends!
