I'm a day late with my Fab Friday card since we had the blog hop yesterday. It's Saturday, the perfect time for you to try the fun sketch and join us at the Fab Friday Challenge Blog.
I loved the sketch but sure did have a hard time coming up with a card. I walked away for awhile and came back to it. When I put on my Clean and Simple hat things went much, much, better.
I just LOVE tea - ya know? So how could I ever resist this luscious patterned paper called Tea for Two from the Spring Catalog?
I die cut hearts and stitched them by pairs the length of the card.
I have been stitching paper on my top of the line Bernina machine, but NO MORE! My dear husband was taking me out to dinner last night and on the way drove me to the fabric store to buy the Janome Mini sewing machine just for papercrafting. HE IS terrific! You can expect to see more stitching on my stuff, it's such a fun embellishment and now it will be so easy.
A sweet sentiment, a pierced heart and a bit or ribbon were all the embellishments needed. Please note the bare bones list of supplies, LOL! (well, it's a pretty limited list for me...)
Please check out the work of the fabulous Design Team and play along with us if you can.
