More projects from the Insider Class inspiring me to make the insides of my cards something special.
For Day 2 we were encouraged to create a card with a clear front so that the inside could shine through. I found several roadblocks on my way to completing this card. The hardest thing for me was figuring FIRST what to put on the inside! It was like getting up on the wrong side of the bed or something. I just couldn't seem to figure it out.
I finally decided to begin by stamping flowers on the patterned paper to make my own background for the card inside.
When you drop the acetate sheet, the Crumb Cake panel on top is embellished with a larger flower and a tag.
I wrapped Baker's twine around a tiny clothespin that does double duty - it also holds the card shut for the photo! The challenge of this course is helping me to see my sets in new ways. In the case of the Morning Meadow stamp set, today is the first time it has seen ink. And I love it!
I'm so glad that you came by to take a peek. Interested in receiving three of my cards? Leave a comment on this post.
