It's Friday and we have a color challenge for you at Fab Friday!
At first I wasn't sure what to do with FIVE colors. Normally I would have used mostly Crushed Curry, Tangering Tango and Sahara Sand as my main three.
But when I paired Soft Sky and Sahara Sand, they were so lovely and soft together, that I focused on them with Crushed Curry as the third.
It just so happens that I am Truly Grateful for my son-in-love who has a birthday tomorrow, so I was happy to finally ink up this set. What do you think, is this manly enough for her guy who serves in the military and jumps out of airplanes?
I stamped the main image in Basic Brown Ink (retired) onto watercolor paper and then used my blender pens and markers to add the ink.The wheat is lightly washed around the edges with Soft Sky, and the acorn has highlights of Tangerine Tango and Sahara Sand.
I was pretty amazed that the round cut log and the sentiment from Chalk Talk were the same size. Now, you know what is REAL-LY A-MAZ-ING? I stamped them perfectly lined up without using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. Yes, I CAN!
That's it for me today! I can't wait to see what you'll create using these gorgeous hues as you play along with us at the Fab Friday Challenge!
I'm always inspired by the lovely projects from the Design Team! Heading over to see them now.
