After my creatively productive week last week, I seem to have hit a slump. Taking the day "off" yesterday didn't help much. I've decided this week I'll let a few online challenges prompt my designs and then I'll have time to plan next week's posts.
I'm a day late on making a square or round card for the sketch at Mojo Monday.
I decided to go with the square. I really like making square cards! I usually make a 5" base and it allows ample room to design. Before I worked with the sketch, I chose the color combo from my Color Coach. I think Sahara Sand, Rich Razzleberry and Strawberry Slush are a great combo for fall. What do you think?
I needed a bit more than the sentiment to balance out the design, so I masked the greeting and stamped the grass and flowers lightly in Versamark Ink to add detail. And of course, I had to add more butterflies!
I must say the sunshine and warmth this beautiful day brings have well made up for our rainy month of July. Hope you are enjoying the lovely weather! Hugs~
