Could you make a card using only two colors? Sure you could!
The Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers yesterday was to make a card using only Red and White, and I was invited as a former Design Team member to make a sample.
What a fun challenge! If I had to pick my favorite two colors to use, especially for Christmas, red and white would be at the top of my list.
I used the Santa from the Tag It stamp set, and well...have a look!
The tag was cut with the Chalk Talk Framelits, making this card so easy to put together. Clean and simple is not my go-to style, but I love pulling off a fun design for a quick and easy card. The idea for the circles came from the dots on either side of the sentiment. Of course, when three white circles fit across the card, I couldn't have been more pleased. Well, I take that back--adding the rhinestones was the icing on the cake!
Thanks for stopping by today. I have posts lined up for the next two weeks to make the most of the last minute ideas for Christmas that I'd like to share with you.
Would you take a minute to leave a comment? What would be your TWO favorite colors to use on a card if you were picking?
Thanks to my blog readers who placed online orders from me this week. You made my day!
