Can it be Friday already? Hooray!
I've posted File Folder cards made with the Envelope Punch Board recently. Today I have one more for you and for Fab Friday! Since I was all into Geometric images, I decided to make my card square (4-3/4") and add a tab to the sentiment panel too.
The metal clip holds the card closed.
I have to be honest. I made this card to post yesterday, but before I posted it, I checked the challenge for our Fab Friday projects. Making that card was next on my to do list. Using Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Black. Done before I started! It was so handy having this card ready to go just a teeny bit early.
There's more to the story. (You can skip this bit of whimsy if you want.) I made the card, took the photos, and then went to do something else. When I came back later, the white panel was missing. Lost. Nowhere. I checked the top of my craft table and started putting away all the stuff I had left out. Nothing. Searched the trash. Not there. Saw evidence that Josie had played with her pals nearby.
Josie is our pet beagle. Unlike her toys, she's a beauty! You can find out all about her in my side bar.
Josie has been known to eat cards if she gets a hold of them (and ANYTHING else!) but this time my perpetual puppy as she is affectionately called, was not the culprit. Is this story going anywhere, you wonder?
Nope. I never found the card front. Just had to remake it. That is all.
And now you know why I added two rhinestones to the word Hooray. It was just not that kind of day.
Hooray for today! I hope you will join us to play along at the Fab Friday Challenge!
