Hello, and welcome to the Stamp Review Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who love to design inspiring projects for you. Our hop begins with the beautiful work of Heidi Baks, so if you are starting here follow on around until you reach her post.
This week we are featuring a well loved set which I'm sure some of you may be surprised to discover is still avaiable to order!
To refresh your memory, here are the images in this lovely set.
I love pulling out an older and loved set and trying to see it with new eyes.
I had help from My Digital Studio as I made today's card. It's a hyrid, combining digital elements with stamped images. The ship is the only stamped image on my card. I stamped on Whisper White Card Stock with Midnight Muse ink, and punched the circle out.
Other elements are patterned papers or embellishments from the digital Anchors Aweigh Kit.
I absolutely love the crisp clean colors of this kit, and they give a whole new look to my card.
The circle frame and larger banners were printed and die cut. I printed the DSP punched to make the small banners. I love the sentiment included with this kit. I think it's just right to use with The Open Sea set.
I hope you've been inspired to pull out this stamp set and play. Next on the hop is Tanya Boser, and her projects are ALWAYS amazing!
