Hello, and welcome to The Stamp Review Crew hop with the Painted Petals stamp set. We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who love to show off as many ideas as we can using one set.
I am almost giddy with the possibilities this set offers. I have more ideas but not enough time to use them for this hop. I know I'll be amazed and inspired by the rest of the team. Their creations always blow me away! We want to encourage your now stamping creativity!
If you just came from Heidi Bak's blog you're in the right place. The thumped colors on her gorgeous card just pop!
I decided to focus on the luscious colors and patterns in the All Abloom Designer Series Paper stack with my creation. Very Easter-y colors, don't you think?
I die cut a window and placed my flowers inside the frame. I used my MISTI to stamp the blooms, and it enabled me to stamp them twice for a two-toned effect. The first time, in Blushing Bride ink. Then I sponged just a bit of Strawberry Slush ink on the stamp edges, and stamped again. I'm using that favorite Strawberry Slush In Color all month until it retires!
I've added a layer of fun foam behind the image panel. I really like the dimension this gives my cards. The frame itself is backed with a layer of card stock too.
Thanks for joining the hop today, you'll find buttons below to lead you on your way to Holly's blog where she share two beautiful designs!
