I'm sipping my morning tea in the kitchen. Enjoying looking out past our driveway at the woods where all the leaves are deep green. The lush colors really stand out on this gray gray day.
My beagle Josie saw the computer coming out and crawled into her crate to settle down for a nap. She knew I'd be busy for awhile.
It's time for the turning of the seasons and I'm not quite ready to see summer go! Even though fall is my favorite season of the year, I'd love for the warm days to stick around for a little longer. Today we're in the midst of steady downpours, so it seems fitting to bring out a fall card.

I love the mix of fonts in this bold yet feminine sentiment. I stamped the leaf with distress ink, and then stamped again in a darker color to add shading. It's a simple card but I think it has real impact. I hope it brightens your day!
