I came upstairs to craft today. That was after taking care of some details, crying on my dear Man's shoulder and trying on a dress to wear to the funeral.
Instead, I sat here at the computer and searched my blog for posts about my dear Mom. I was amazed at what you might know about her from what I've already written in my many years of blogging. I thought you might want to know that she went to be with the Lord this past Tuesday at the age of 96.
Are you wondering how I could think of stamping at a time like this? I bet many of you understand that doing the next thing is good and doing what is therapeutic for you is even better. My craft room is my happy place and it's a wonderful way to think of my Mom.
I thought I'd share just a couple of the posts I wrote about Mom for those who are interested to follow my memory trail this morning. If you click on the title, it will take you back to the original post and the stories of Mom.
This one shows the beautiful art my Mom painted to share her joy and love of beauty with others.
In the altered frame art that is next to Mom's beautiful painting, I stamped this verse from Psalm 91. How fitting it is for the end of this post!
I am grateful beyond words for the sure hope that I will see my Mom again.
Thank you for bearing with me for this glimpse of real life today. As I looked back over these blog posts, I appreciated all the kind thoughts of friendship and caring that you've offered me over the years of this life journey.
I will be back with stamping news in the days ahead. My need to make something beautiful makes me think of Mom in the sweetest way. Hugs~
