Branch Out and grow!

A really green tree in all its greenery is a sure sign of spring. Bet you've never seen a really green tree trunk until now! I was having all kinds of fun with the Branch Out stamp set. It began by wanting to use this color combo, and I just did not want to add brown to these soft hues - so I took some creative license and made the tree green.

I think it turned out OK, and I really love this set!  This is the card we made at our club meeting this month. I can't wait to try some of the other cute images. Just remember that if you try an idea  outside the box, that's the fun of creating with paper.  You're the artist!

A Valentine for Snow day!

Oh, the fun of a snow day! It's rare in this part of NC, but we so loved waking up to see all the white stuff. As a homeschooling family, we always took the day off to play in the snow whenever we got the chance. No work or college classes today, so a few of us are enjoying sitting around at home together.

I designed this card for my next hostess club party - it was supposed to be tonight, but probably will be postponed. Thought you'd enjoy getting to have a peek at the cute pocket card we'll be making. I love pocket cards, and they could not be any easier than this one done with the Top Note die and the Big Shot.

Sneak peeks!

Life is a bit busy at the moment, so bear with me! I have 5 new sets waiting for me to play, so there will be more cards to come soon!  In the meantime, I am getting things ready for our club meeting tonight.

Here are some sneak peeks of my upcoming Chipboard 101 class.Today is the last day to register if you'd like to join us on Saturday, October 7 to learn all the basics about using chipboard to add pzzazz and touchablilty to your projects. If you've got chipboard in your stash and don't know what to do with it, we'll cover several ways to color it, sparkle it, and embellish it with designer paper.
