Good evening! How are you tonight?
I'm squeaking under the timeline with one more card to share from Stamp A Faire 2016 before the links close. It was a great event and I look forward to next year!
No one is more deserving of being called a master of watercolor than Kay Miller. If you aren't yet familiar with her amazing work, you will love checking out her blog at My Joyful Moments.
In her first video, "Watercolor Like a Master " she teaches how to make this gorgeous card with stamps, ink, and a watercolor brush. You should definitely watch the video because getting to see her work is such an inspiration and a delight!
Here's my attempt to try out her technique using the Vintage Linens set from PTI.
The flower images were not quite as detailed but I still think they give the idea of looking watercolored. I used Buttercream ink from Altenew, and Calypso Coral and Kiwi Kiss from Stampin' Up!
Thanks for looking!
