I can't believe it's mid-August already. Summer may be almost over, but it seems to me as if it just began!
Just a little personal update. Last month I flew to Stampin' Up! convention and just three days after returning from Salt Lake, we boarded a plane for Amsterdam! There began a most fabulous week of a cruise through the Fjords in Norway. A memorable, fun, relaxing and precious time with my Man.
We arrived home just one week ago and the monster cold of all time hit me like a brick. I still can't talk much, or sleep without coughing fits. But I CAN stamp and stamp I did!
I pulled out my new-to-me For the Birds stamp set. It seems I "needed" this set for breaking in the Blendabilities markers. Who can resist those cute birds, right?
I love the vibrant colors and wonderful blending of these markers. Layering color is easy and the ink dries quickly. Mainly I used the colors of Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, and Rich Razzleberry for my images. I've found a way to dilute the shades to make them lighter and I look forward to sharing "how I blend" in a video or two coming soon.
I added a punched heart and three lines of scoring.
So, as the sentiment says, count me happy to be here in my favorite crafty space. My cocooning spell is over and soon the creativity will be flying high around here. More posts and a video to come!
Would you pass the word on that my cards are for sale in my etsy shop? CLick to see the gallery. It is full and I'd love for you to browse at the cards available for purchase. And buy some, please? Our daughter - some of you remember Emily - is my store manager and all money from sales will go to her. She is convinced the cards will sell. And I'm convinced you'd like to help. Thanks.
