The day has come when I can finally share some of my cards from past Dirty Dozen challenges with you. My first month the theme was masculine cards - a somewhat daunting way to begin! I am happy to scatter a few of these cards on posts over the next week or so. Hope you'll get some ideas.

This card uses the Trendy Trees set and is my LESS version of the challenge.

Thinking of Trendy Trees

This card using the Trendy Trees stamp set fits the bill for two challenges today~ the Clean and Simple challenge and the Color Challenge at SCS to use ruby red and baja breeze. I had brought along my Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper to the hotel room, (yes, I'm still here!) I just love this paper and the chance to use some for this challenge. It is amazing how having 'limited'~ I use that term lightly ~ choices of supplies sure streamlines the process of deciding what to stamp.

I've been asked if I'm having fun stamping while away from home and the answer is "yes and no." I love being here when my teens come back in the evening all full of their news, etc. and I've had a great time meeting friends for lunch. But the truth is I miss my husband and can't wait to get back to sleep in my own bed. Thank goodness working on my swaps has given me something to do. Shopping gets old after awhile but maybe if I bought something it would be more fun! Do y'all have any suggestions LOL?
