Welcome to the first day of the RemARKable Love blog tour. I'm so happy to be part of this tour and have the chance to show off some of my favorite new Stampin' Up! products. Things I Love have to include Sweet Peas! I combined the Sweet Peas Designer Series Paper Pack, and the Stitched Felt Sweet Pea flowers for this bird house. It would make a cute addition to your home decor, or pack a little treat inside for someone special.
There's no trick to making the box shape for the house—it's so EASY because it's a die cut! I used the Box #2 Bigz die and turned it sideways for the bird house. This is the perfect size for the Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch, which also supplied the leafy branches. The roof was made with the Scallop Square die which I ran through the Big Shot twice for a rectangular shape. This bird's house should be called a Big Shot Bonanza!
I used the Faux Suede technique for the bird to get a soft, feathery look and feel. Wish you could feel the pretty felt flowers! The opening was punched with the 1-1/4" circle punch.
I'm excited about the next projects that I have lined up to share with you! I'd love for you to leave a comment, thanks for stopping by!
love this!

Are you kidding me? This is the most adorable box I've seen! I'm so making one of these to show my stamp club girls! I don't have that box die, but am sure I can come up with something that will work. TFS!! And I hope you're feeling better, too!
