I know my blog is a little window into my life, I'm going to take that a step further in just a moment!
I spent a lovely bit of time at home today and that was wonderful! Picture a beef stew simmering in the oven, nice chats with family, getting an errand or two done, and me getting to wind up the afternoon in my craft room! The windows were open, I could hear the birds singing, the breeze rustling the pines. Here's the view from my window.
From my window I get to admire the beauty of our wooded extra lot, the Carolina blue sky and the busy antics of the squirrels. My desk and computer sit right here in the treetops. I'm no nature photographer, but isn't it special?
Another special thing today - it was a TWO card day, so I'm making that a TWO post day too, here ya go!
The sketch is another fantastic one from Mojo Monday. The beautiful Curtain Call Color Challenge was to use Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, and Certainly Celery (oops, I used Old Olive.)I am going to LOVE having these pinks to use together again with the Color Renovation.

Love the card and the view from your window. Is that Dogwood blooming? I visited South Carolina for the first time Easter Sunday and it was spectacular. Quite a contrast from the high desert Southwest for me.

Yes, Wendy, the "small" tree on the right is a dogwood, they are part of what grows naturally here. The red berries came out about a month ago, and the tree should be blooming any day.
I know the Southwest and any area - has its spectacular beauty. (We've moved a lot) Let's just say I'm so FOND of the GREEN from my window!
The springy berry and colors on my card prompted me to share it with you! Thanks so much for your comment :D

Oh my!! What a gorgeous view you have out your window!! I just love it, and thanks for sharing! On your card - did you cut out TWO tags from that die? One white and one from Bella Rose DSP? Then did you just layer the DSP one on the white one? I just LOVE that touch, and love how you've used your hug! I need to USE mine!!
Hugs,
Susan

Cindy, i am not sure how you get much done! Hopefully your craft space looks onto that gorgeous little peace of serenity. Love your car. It looks delicious. TFS.

Lovely view! It has been so busy here lately with the election coming up that I haven't had as much time to admire the spring beauty as much as I would like. Love your spring-y colors in your card. Hope you are feeling A-OK!

Hi Ruth Ann, I've missed you! Yes, I am feeling A OK most of the time - just not up to par.
Hope you're not too busy to stamp!

Hi Susan,
You are exactly right about how I did the card. Because the sketch 'called' for something there, I went on a hunt to see what fit. Layering tags is an idea that has lots of potential, although trial and error is normal. At first I tried stamping the sentiment on the tag and that didn't work too well this time. I think the DP looks prettier anyway and it echoes the DP flower.
My 'hugs' are almost gone, I love using them!! That's an item I'd sure like to see in the new catty.

So fresh and pretty! I really like the way you used just the tippy top of a label die cut peeking above the upper left border for a great accent.
