Just a HOOT and then some....

I was hoping to post yesterday and wish you all a Happy Labor Day in the US, but I'll just wish you a good short week instead. Sure feels like Monday to me.

We did stay home and the weekend was relaxing....I don't know if it works like this at your house, but even relaxing we feel busy. I guess we play hard at resting, Heehee.

Got in just a little bit of time to stamp and I'd love to show you the card I made for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 84. I wanted to use my owl punch for this card so I tweaked the sketch just a bit. Sorry I couldn't get a better photo, I've had enough of editing today.

How about that, isn't he fun paired up with the Nursery Suite Specialty Paper? I ran it through the Top Note Die, and then pleated a strip of another pattern.

Not only did I use the owl punch, I added quite a few others. My favorite is the Extra-Large Decorative label punch from the Holiday Mini! You've got to check it out, the images in the Tags 'Til Christmas set coordinate perfectly with a collection of our punches.

I think this owl is just a h00t for cute cards.

Speaking of cute, some of you requested a photo of Josie in her stroller. I am sorry I never got a good pic of her in it~ but HAPPY to say she is now able to go out and about. We've had fun exposing her to new situations and over the weekend came a first~~we had her on our fishing boat.
