Hi! Hope your Monday is going great!
Today's card was intended for my Friday Flashback feature with one small glitch - I made it on Saturday! I used a stamp set that deserves to be in the spotlight even though I have not used it in awhile - that's Fifth Ave Floral PLUS an old fav of mine, Baroque Motifs. I began this feature to encourage myself and all of us to dust off those horded supplies and give them a new look, and you'll find many samples HERE.
I was inspired to try an interesting challenge that I found at Our Creative Corner called a 1-2-3-4 Challenge. We're asked to use:
1 patterned paper
2 layers not including the card base
3 different stamp images
4 non-paper embellishments
Math and creativity don't mix too well with me, but even though I had to plan it out, I did enjoy the challenge! Here's today's card.
Keeping the layers and embellishments to a minimum was a trick and I wasn't quite sure how to count them but I figured this way - 1 piece of hardware + one ribbon + 2 pearls = 4.
ETA: I've made some changes to the original card posted. To be more in keeping with the two layers, I added a strip of DP as a mat to the main panel. I like it much better this way! I also played along with the fabulous Celebrity Color Challenge at PPA83.
I want to say a big thank you for visiting and as always I'd love to hear from you! If you have time, please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Fifth Ave Floral! I had to have that set when I first saw it and used it like a crazy person. But have only touched it to move it in the last few months. Thanks for the reminder that I have this lovely, versatile set on my shelf.
Your card is gorgeous! I love how you incorporated the DSP, but you still have a clean look to the card. Great job!

Beautiful card - that is a stamp set that deserves to be remembered and used - which I haven't done in ages! I love your soft colors and embellishments and the way you used your three stamps. Lovely! Thanks so much for playing along with the OCC!

Beautiful work! Love the colors you used. You did a wonderful job on keeping it to two layers - I like the strip of DP that you ran along the edge and using it for the flowers was brilliant! Terrific job on the 1-2-3-4 challenge. So happy you joined in the fun with us this week at Our Creative Corner.

I just love your card! I love how you used the flourish behind the flowers. They look vines! and your use of the tanks stamp really adds some punch to the hardware! Thanks for playing with us @ OCC, and I hope that we see more of your work!
