Hi.Dee-HO and good morning!!
In case you're wondering I am still pinching myself and doing a happy dance about being an Artisan Finalist again! Maybe this is the year I'll be a WINNER! I have a whole month to dream, don't I?
So I'm trying to keep busy to help the time pass. Like most of you, that sentence is a hoot because no matter what's going on my life is usually insanely busy.
Here's how I kept on the go. I went to Zumba and worked out for 50 minutes yesterday. Totally loved it although my back is letting me know I twisted a bit too hard.
There are 60 swaps to make for convention - that's just a few, right? I get to play with stamping friends today, Yaay! And last but not least, I'm stampin' every chance I get! Gotta keep those juices flowing!
On to the project.
The darling Take Care set screamed at me when I first saw it in the new Idea Book. It had CUTE! written all over it. I envisioned lots of ways to use it but yesterday the idea hit me to make a window card. Here's the front--
I really had fun with the inside. Take a look!
I think this card reflects my playful happy mood. Hi-Dee-HO! (Don't ask me where that word comes from. I make up things when I'm happy. Sometimes I even make up names for the supplies I used. Never on purpose, though!) The color combo came right from the catty on page 141, so bright and happy! Summer Starfruit is working it's way into my cards more than any other new In Color.
A few details:
- The branch on the card front lays exactly over the branch on the inside of the card.
- It's so easy to make this type of window card! One image goes across the window and the other image gets attached to this bridge. HERE is a link to another one that I've made.
- The nest inside the card was first stamped. Then I scrunched up some tiny strips of card stock and glued them on.
Hope your day brings you many blessings and smiles. Thanks so much for your words of encouragemnet and kind thoughts.
PS. If you're "secretly" rooting for me, please let me know! The truth is that inside, I am literally shaking in my boots!

Of course I'm "rooting" for you!!! And I don't know if you ever saw the TV show "Home Improvement" with Tim Allen, but the guy whose face we never saw, on the other side of the fence from Tim the Tool Man Taylor's backyard, always said, "Hi-dee-Ho, neighbor!" That's where I thought you got it from!
I love your card - I have this set and have only used a sentiment. Thanks for the inspiration, as always! :-)

Cindy I just wanted to congratulate you on being an Artisan Award finalist! You are extremely talented and I wish you the best in making it to the design team:) Speaking from experience please enjoy this huge honour and don't ever second guess your talent, Stampin' Up! chose you for a reason. Haha I wish I could have been this smart last year when I kept second guessing myself, lol! Good luck!
