While I had the inks out for yesterday's card, I got to playing around with a technique I saw on THIS very pretty card. I decided to try it using the Labels Collection Framelits and the triple stamping technique. I layered the three sizes of labels and used a bit of Dotto adhesive to keep them in place. Then I stamped the images and gently separated the three layers.
Because there is a very small area between the layers that doesn't get inked you need to use a mat to cover that space and highlight your shaped panel. I die cut two labels, cut each in half, and trimming where needed they are overlapped top and bottom and side to side on the back to form the mat. STAMPING with this set is such a delight! It's the perfect set to use for making your own background. Imagine the possibilities!
I'm crazy about yesterday's card with these colors and not so much with today's card. Which do you like better? Let me know in my comments box!
I'm loving playing with this set and since there are still yellow roses on my table I am sure you'll be seeing them again in my posts.
I hope to work on my promised Socks Box tutorial today, so check for it tomorrow. Have a really wonderful day and happy stamping!
I love this new stamp set! Of the two cards, I like the first one you made best!

I love both the cards! The first one was a real show-stopper, but this one is too. I LOVE this technique of stamping on the layers all at once (assuming that's how you did it) - it's FUN! And I never would've thought of Crumb Cake leaves, but they're PERFECT in this color combo!
