You should have just arrived from Amy Bollman's blog showcasing her bee-yoo-ti-ful creations.
Today I want to show you my 12 x12 scrapbook page done entirely with My Digital Studio. I had to "borrow" some cute photos and this darling little friend truly did inspire me!
I'm pretty much a beginner with My Digital Studio but I've had fun learning to improve my skills. For this page I used elements from the Downtown Grunge and Delight in the Day Photobook Templates.
Hexagons are popular now so the Hexagon Punch was a perfect tool, especially paired up with the patterns from the Simple Snapshots Content CD.
I was thrilled with the quality of the printing from Stampin' Up!, especially the textured look in the background from the Delightful Grunge Papers. In real life, it looks even a bit crinkly. A click to enlarge the photo will help you see the details.
Are you loving the blog hop? I'm amazed to hear so many of the stories behind the creations and to be able to really appreciate the details. Next stop - the uber-talented Erica Cerwin! I loved the story she told yesterday about the two of us being giddy with excitement just after we'd learned we were winners. I've been a long-time fan of her work, and to become friends on the team has been so sweet.
This was my "hands-down" favorite of your layouts ... LOVE it!! LOVE the hexagons ... the photos, the colors ... ALL of it!! STUPENDOUS!! :)

I love this page! I have the hexagons download, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Great inspiration here!

Lovely! Are we going to get a hexagons punch, do you think?
