Summer Starfruit takes the stage for Fab Friday!

Happy Friday and welcome to my Fab Friday blog post. If the title and my greeting lacks a bit of zip - it's because I'm writing late at night when my mind is mush after watching the debate and then staying up to root for the Orioles. And trying to write at the same time. (insert big yawn here.)

This week we had a color challenge.

I find that color challenges are the hardest for me and when I saw this one I admired these lovely shades together but had no idea how to use them on a card. Usually one color or another will spark an idea for images, but not this time.

So I flipped through my new sets that are waiting to see ink, and chose the Blue Ribbon set. It was really fun to play with!

I love being able to have so many layers behind the ribbon and there are lots of dimensionals to raise the focal point. It's always great having one more birthday card in my stash.

What a fun way to use these bold colors! I may need that set. It is great for masculine cards. :)

Um, so NO one would think you had a hard time with this one. This is FABULOUS! I love all your layers and dimension! Really love that die cut in the background, I have the hardest time using that one! This is just fabulous!!!!
