Artisan Wednesday Wow

Hello everyone, welcome to today's Artisan Wednesday Wow Blog Hop! You should have come here from Amy's blog. Amy is so talented, her work is an amazing delight every time!

I seem to like taking one of the items we received in our box of goodies and focusing on how I can use the product. What a bunch of fun I had this month with the Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit! You get a ton of supplies with this wonderful kit from the Spring Catalog.

I wanted to make something I could use with the kit, and I got the idea of a mini album. I trimmed the boxes down and folded them to form a pocket that perfectly fits the folded notecards inside.

Here's how I cut down the box to make it into a pocket.

Each notecard can be seen extending from the pocket and has a pull tab. Having all the elements to coordinate made adding the embellishments so easy.

Our daughter is getting married next month, and she loves these colors! (SHH! She is a bit too busy to be checking my blog right now.) I thought it would be fun if each of her bridesmaids decorates the note in one of the pockets with a hand-written wish, or a special photo for a unique keepsake.

Of course I did use many of the plentiful items of the kit, but there are still some left. I'll be ready to show you a follow up project at next week's blog hop! My supplies are listed below.
