Hi, and welcome to my blog! I want to thank everyone for the kind comments you have left for me this week. You sure know how to make me smile, and I appreciate your support and taking time to give back.
Fab Friday is here again and Mindy has a great sketch challenge for us. My interpretation is rather on the loose side, but hey! I think it works, do you? Instead of a rectangle or other shape, I filled in with a collage. It's so easy to do with Gorgeous Grunge and it lives up to its title. (she says, grinning.)
Here's the sketch we were given.
Instead of using an embellishment in the botom right corner, I let the heavy lines and gold splotch add the balance needed. I did heat emboss with gold powder, and also added some with Versamarker to the inside of the butterfy. I had heat embossed the butterfly first in black, colored with markers, and added the gold embossing last. Did you know you could do that? Well, I wasn't completely sure, but it worked!
We'd love for you to play along with us at the Fab Friday Challenge!Make sure to check out all the inspiring samples from the Design Team too.
