Happy Friday to you! Two weeks have flown by -- oh my! I can't believe how soon the holidays will be upon us!
Today is a special day too, it's Fab Friday, and we had a great sketch!
I loved this sketch, and you will too!
You may have noticed there's no stamping on this one! I continue to be excited about using MDS and my Cameo e-cutter. I imported two SVG files from My Digital Studio to my Cameo library. The Merry Christmas is from A Little of This Designer Kit, and the holly and berries are from the Jolly Bingo Bits digital stamp brush set.
All I did was set up the size of my image using my computer and the type of outline I wanted to use. Sent it to the Cameo and it began to cut away! So much fun to see this happen. I sponged the leaf edges and added Crystal Effects to the berries.
My design is inspired by an idea shared by Kristina Werner at Online Card Classes Christmas Card Workshop. She carried the washi tape from the front of the card to the inside, where she used it to make a simple gift card pocket.
Here's how it looks:
I really had fun with this one. I hope you will join us to play along with us at the Fab Friday Challenge!
The team has such awesome cards this week!

Fabulous!! I have not tried this yet (I have a Cricut that I rarely use so would love to upgrade to the Cameo E-Cutter but not sure if I can justify to my hubby :-)) Love the inside of the card and how you created the gift card pocket as well :-) Will have to re-think the E-Cutter since I truly do love using MDS for cards :-)
