I needed a tree topper so I grabbed my stamps, paper and ink in hand and made one!
The Festive Flurry stamp set and matching Framelits layer together so easily. Using silver embossing and Silver Glimmer Paper adds some bling. The Frosted Finish Embellishment makes the focal point sparkle. For real!
I glued the layers together with Crystal Effects for a strong hold. On the back, I added a 1" x 5-1/2" strip formed in a circle so the topper could slide onto the tree branch.
It does stand up straight and strong.
This would also make a great ornament. I love the way it looks against the greenery.
I've really enjoyed making many projects with this collection. In case you missed them, there's THIS easy card, and a couple more HERE and HERE. Then I also made the card keeper box HERE. Hands down, this has been my favorite product from the Holiday Catalog! Can you imagine having a beautiful ornament to give someone you love? You can order the supplies at my online store, available only until January 2.
Speaking of hands, something happened to one of mine. I had 5 stitches on Saturday under my ring finger of my left hand. (Yes, I am left-handed!) This has put a crimp in my style (literally) making it hard to craft and even harder to type! To summarize the mishap: new kitchen knives + operator error = a 1-1/2" long cut!
I appreciate your patience with my blog absence this past week. It's a busy time of year even if your hands both work. Thanks for taking time in your busy schedule to visit. I'd love to hear from you today!
ETA: I forgot to mention that in the extra layer I added, I used Coaster Board. This product is thicker than card stock and makes the decoration much sturdier. I used the Framelits Dies to cut it.
All supplies by Stampin' Up!
So sorry about your finger. But thanks for the beautiful pic of your Tree Topper, what a great way to add sparkle and bling to the tree. Great project idea.
Have a joy filled and merry Christmas.

Beautiful topper, and gives me some ideas for Anna's first Christmas tree! So sorry about your hand! Is there anything I can do?
