It's time again for the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop! If you have newly discovered our hop, please note that we feature a different stamp set the first and third Monday of each month. Unlike other hops, stamp sets from the main catalog take center stage with us.
You will be inpsired today with lots of ways to use the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set.
Before me in the line-up is Heidi Baks, I am always amazed by her gorgeous creations. You're going to love Love LOVE what she has for you today!
To me, Gorgeous Grunge is the set that you can pull out to use with almost anything you are stamping. I wanted to focus on using the images for added texture and distressing for a shabby look.
The effect is very subtle since I used white craft ink mostly on the Sahara Sand card stock. I even embossed some white dots on my paper flower.
Here's the card for you. I added ink from most of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps, and used the direct to paper method to add ink to the edges of my card base as well.
I absolutely love the colors and fun patterns in the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper. The flowers were punched out, crumpled a bit, and layered. Pleated paper adds more layers and adds to the shabby style. After the hop, come back and check my tutorial by clicking HERE.
My supplies are listed below.
Next up is Beth Beard. I can't wait to see what she has for us!

Wonderfully shabby chic! So much to love, but I think my favorite details are the white speckles on the flower and the pleated ruffle. The stamping on the Sahara Sand is yummy too!
