Yesterday I was into my deep cleaning through the ***layers** of craft supplies piled on my table. Seriously, I had piles of supplies I had gotten out and used over the past weeks and never put away. I am not normally like this, but craft time has been very hard to find recently!
I discovered a ruffled ribbon rose that I made a long time ago. I kept moving it from corner to corner and let it sit forever. Until today when I decided to make a quick card using it.
A simple and sweet Sorbet birthday wish for someone so special and dear to me. **sending hugs and waving, Emily!**
A few details:
- I made the rose on a circle cut from a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet.
- I began winding the Ruffle Stretch Trim around the outside of the circle, and ended in the inside.
- The last piece was tucked into place and held with a glue dot.
- For the leaves, I stamped the image from the Secret Garden set, and die cut it with the coordinating Framelits.
The Banner Dies and more of the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper decorate the inside. Oh, and of course it needed just a bit of bling to match the rhinestones on the front.
The ruffled rose is so easy to make. I hope you'll give it a try!
You are the reason that I write this blog. I'd love to hear from you today! Thank you for coming by to see what I've been up to with my stamps, paper, and ink.
