It's time again for a Stamp Review Crew blog hop! We're delighted to have you join us as we show fun new ideas using the Oh Hello Stamp set. For starters, I just love what Tanya has done with our blog buttons this time. They are so pretty!
Speaking of pretty projects, Lisa Young is aways coming up with beauties, you should have just arrived from her blog. If you're just starting with me, hop on around to her blog so you don't miss anyone.
I wanted to make an invitation in my prettiest bright colors. Every invitation needs an envelope, so I sewed one up out of vellum and decorated the top. See the textures on the Melon Mambo flowers? It comes from the chevron images of the set, stamped tone on tone.
The invitation is a shaped card, made with the Floral Framelits.
Just a few tips for you:
- Framelits make it so easy to add stitch lines with a gel pen. Just trace around the outer edge of the Framelit you used and it's the perfect distance from the die cut piece.
- Want a different look for your Embossing Folders? Turn them over and feature the DEbossed side on your project.
- Place your card on a larger base. I have two of the Daffodil Delight card stock flowers adhered for a top fold. Then I attached them to the Coastal Cabana base.
Here's the inside of the invitation.
I had so much fun making this project. I hope you've been inspired to pull out this versatile set and give it some love!
Let's move on to see what Jill Coleman has in store for us. She is so creative!
All supplies by Stampin' Up!

Adorable, Cindy! I love the faux stitching with the framelits. Wonderful idea! I love how you did the card part as the smaller flower instead of the biggest one. I haven't done one like that yet! Oh, and I almost forgot about that fabulous envelope. Love it!
