Welcome to the first blog hop of the Creation Station stampers!
We are a group who will be sharing with you on the first and third Sunday of each month from specific Stampin' Up! sets, accessories, or themes.
I chose the Stippled Rose stamp set to work with. I love this set because the two step stamps take the guesswork out of shading and highlighting - the images do the work for you every time!
Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz combined with gold sequin trim make a Mother's day card with all the things my Mom loves!
The sentiment from the Vivid Vases stamp set is embossed in gold onto card stock Vellum.
I used my Aqua Brush and water to lightly blend the ink colors of the roses for more of a watercolored look. I'll be playing with watercolor all week, so stay tuned to learn more about this hot trend in cardmaking right now.
I also added a tag to go with Mom's gift. It was made on watercolor paper by misting the paper and the stamps so that the blended colors made their own background.
You'll see so many inspiring ideas as you continue on the hop. I am so honored to introduce the next stamper. Teneale Williams is a stamper whose gorgeous work I have long admired. I can't wait to see what she has to show us!

Cindy: This card and tag are simply gorgeous! I love the Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo combo on the flowers. And the spritz of water to give the water colored look is so sweet!
