I have a dear friend who makes beautiful cards and lovingly sends them out often. She makes each one unique for the recipient by choosing their favorite colors, an image of something they love, a shared memory or their school colors to customize the card for the recipient.
I thought it would be fun to add my own touch of personalization to this card made with the My Paper Pumpkin Kit for May.
The Little Letters Framelit Dies are perfect for adding a name or word to any project!
Here are just a couple of tricks to make working with them a breeze.
- The letters have holes so that you can push them out of the frame. I find a rounded toothpick works very well for poking through the hole because it doesn't leave marks on the paper.
- Push one end out, and carefully lift the letter the rest of the way to remove from the die.
- I use a T square ruler to line up the letters on my card.
- Tombo Multi glue works best for adhering them. Add just a tiny drop of glue in two or three places on the back of the letter. Then, lightly swipe with a scrap of card stock to remove any excess glue before placing on the card front.
I am anxiously awaiting the new My Paper Pumpkin Kit for June.
I'll be back to posting on Sunday and Mondy as next week is hop week. See you then!
