I am excited to welcome you to the Creation Station Blog Hop. On the first and third Sunday of each month, our team highlights one stamp set, one theme, and one accessory. There is such variety in our projects and I LOVE seeing what others have come up with. We are showing you our stamp set, a back to school theme, plus notebooks in any shape or size.
Our set is Kinda Eclectic, which I've never used yet, so it was fun to get to play with this lovely set. The images are perfect for a collage of any type. And of course, I love the butterfiles! Both of them have a coordinating punch, making it so easy to adorn your cards with them.
My first card began with a mistake. After I had all the layers on the white card stock, an ink pad fell on it. Yep. But there's never a mistake with stamping right? Only an opportunity.
I die cut the large panel with the Project Life Framelits. And featured it cock-eyed on the card front like this.
This card measures 3-1/2" X 5" . I love this size because it's just a bit different. You can hang embellishments off the edge. And it still fits in an A2 envelope.
My next card gives Kinda Eclectic a back to school look using the Chalkboard technique.
The border image from the Chalk Lines stamp set was the beginning idea for this card and layout. I had Soft Sky card stock still out from the previous project, so I used it for the card base and butterflies. I am so loving that color lately.
Last, I bought myself a media journal and covered it with our Kraft Cardstock. This is somewhat heavier than our card stock, and will hold up well. I layered on some Typeset Specialty Paper. Next, I painted on some gesso, and after it was dry I stamped and embellished.
I wish that you could feel the texture of the cover. And the paper inside is very heavy so I can watercolor or do mixed media pages as I journal.
Please head on to see the rest of the hop. Next up is Teneale WIlliams, part of the 2015 Artisan Design Team!

WOW!!! First card - love the color scheme. It's gorgeous. And I'm a sucker for chalkboard anything with that second card. But the journal - OMG! It's to die for! The added gesso had me right away....love it!
