Welcome to the Stamp Review Blog Hop! For this edition we're sharing our creations made with the Daydream Medallions stamp set.
Planning ahead for his hop, I was thinking of summery blues with lots of white space and a delicate lacy background stamped with the images.
When I went to create my card, an idea hit me that took my card in a totally different direction. See what I mean?
I decided that for this card to be different, I would stamp the images on designer paper. I chose the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Catalog. In this SNEAK PEEK you can see the luscious colors of Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede and Whisper white. The Crushed Curry layer is also stamped with the Hardwwod stamp set in Crumb Cake ink.
The card base is Crumb Cake, and the sentiment is stamped on Whisper White card sock. All the other colors you see are the designer paper. I used the Floral Framelits dies to cut the layered flower.
How do you like the fall colors? It seemed like the flower was soaking up the sun, so I chose the sentiment from the Ray of Sunshine stamp set. I tweaked the burlap ribbon to shred it, and added it behind the sentiment. The small leaf is die cut with the new Fun Fall Framelit Dies, also in the Holiday Catalog.
I mixed up quite a bit of new things for this card. Hope you like it!
Next on the hop is Heidi Baks, I know you'll love what she has to share!

Gorgeous, Cindy! I can't believe that's all DSP but it looks fantastic! That burlap was the perfect touch.

This is just BEAUTIFUL! I especially love the contrast between the Crushed curry hardwood layer and the medallion. What color did you use to stamp the hardwood? It looks too light to be any of the colors you mentioned.

Love the outdoorsy feel of this card. I grew up on a farm and the colors and textures of this make me think fondly of harvesting corn.

Like the folksy colors you used with the medallions, and the planked background. Good job.
