It's time for another round from the Stamp Review Crew! Welcome to a new month and our Kinda Eclectic Edition.
I have to admit to being stumped when I first tried to come up with a new idea for this set. It is so perfect for layering, and for a collage look, an airy card with lots of white, etc.
I wondered about using the leaves image for a more masculine look. Here's what I came up with!
I'm sorry my photo doesn't do justice to the stamping technique. I began by stamping the leaf clusters onto Meadow Moss card stock with Whisper White Craft ink. Next I inked the stamp again in Meadow Moss ink, and stamped over the first image while the craft ink was still wet. The stamp is placed just a bit off to the side of the first image, creating a shadow effect.
The card base is Crumb Cake. I kept the rest of the card simple, adding a white border and rounded corners on one side. After the fact, I wished I'd left the corners alone. The butterfly is stamped in Calypso Coral and the sentiment is embossed in white.
I know you'll be inspired by the ideas from the rest of the team! Up next is my dear friend, Wendy Weixler. I am always a fan of her talent and her fun personality. I'm sure you'll love her creations 'cause I sure do!

What a fabulous technique - it gives so much depth to the leaves. I love that this could be used as a masculine card.
