I made a new card today and I'm adding it to the Retrosketches Challenge which is ending any moment now. They featured this cute layout which brings images of spring to mind.
Not only was I in the mood to think spring today, I have some new images to play with!
The leaf and sentiment are a sneak peek of the Stampin' Up! set, Butterfly Basics which is in the soon-to-be released Occasions Catalog. I can't wait to use the other images and sentiments of this set.
But for now, I've highlighted the butterfly images from Clearly Besotted, that I practiced coloring with Copic markers as homework for the Online Card Class. I'm very new to this, but I'm having fun learning. The markers are my Christmas present that I got early. This is one of the first things I've colored with them.
Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have been inspired!

I just switched out my Christmas stamps and put my new Occasions stamps in their place. I can't wait to try out the Butterfly Basics stamp set. Lovely coloring on those butterflies!
