the Saviour is born!
Yesterday we had our second Christmas day. While living in Germany, we learned of their delightful custom to have at least two days of Christmas. With my relatives there, December 25th is typical a day for the family to celebrate with gifts and a special meal. But on December 26th they reached out to share with their extended family by visiting or sharing meals.
At our house we spent yesterday just hanging out. On Christmas we had some lively games of our new favorite card game, RAGE. Yesterday we girls (my two daughters and I) filled the dining room table with our crafts and spent the day catching up. It brought back so many memories of setting up camp in the dining room during a couple weeks of each summer and spreading out all the scrapbooking stuff we were working on. A very nice thing to share together!
Anyway, I just had to make one more Christmas card using the Weary World stamp set from Verve for my manger scene. I absolutely love that the sentiments are all from the song, "O Holy NIght." I colored it with Copics, and used papers from Stampin' Up!: Blackberry Bliss, Natural Composition Specialty Paper (covered with white Craft Ink), Whisper White, and Gold Glimmer. The flourish die cut is from Memory Box.
I'm thinking that the best part of today is - no plans. I love seeing my hard-working husband get to read by the fire. Hope your day is wonderful!

Your card is beautiful! The crafting session sounds fantastic! :)
The "at least two days of Christmas" is exactly how our week has ended up and I loved it!! Merry Christmas to you!

What a GORGEOUS card! I might have to get that stamp set for next year! Is that swirl cut with your cameo? How does it do cutting glitter paper? And what's the name of that swirl? And aren't I full of questions??
Hugs!
