I found a new challenge! Nothing too surpising. RIght?
The fun of Kara's 200 Weeks of Inspiration Challenge is getting to CASE one of your favorite cards from her Pinterest file. I picked this gorgeous work of art by Laura Bassen. I love how her masterfully clean style draws the eye right toward the sentiment.
I also couldn't wait to use something new to me: the Framed Florals set from Verve.
It was perfect for a window card.
I cut the window using my blade knife and fussy cut around the flowers. They were colored with Copics in shades of coral and olive and I added sparkle with my Wink of Stella glitter pen.
I choose the least busy neutral patterned paper I could find in my stash. Crumb Cake chevrons from Stampin' Up! (retired) I wish I could have come up with something a bit more subtle, but using what I have is OK. Now another birthday wish for this month is ready to go out in the mail.
Glad to be inking up my new stuff! Thanks to the fun challenge Darnell
has going on.
Playing along with the Color Q challenge as well. Isn't this a gorgeous combo?
Thanks so much for brightening my day with your visit.

What a clever idea! I love the way, you cut around the window and flowers to make a very 'crafty' aperture! Lovely! Hazel x

This is gorgeous, Cindy! You did an excellent "Laura" card and I have to disagree with you about the chevron. In this case, I think it is stunning with your perfectly colored posies!
