I'm excited to say that I had time in the craft room over the weekend and actually created something to share!
I have to tell you that I have so much new stuff that I now become easily overwhelmed when I go in to stamp. What's with that, right? Today I didn't say when I began, " I'm going to make a card." Sometimes that turns into pressure. Instead I encouraged myself to just color a bit and try out some new dies. Here's the result!
So the coloring began with using Copics - I'm still just just a beginner with these - to color the vase. Then I made a watercolor background with watercolor paper and Distress Inks.
I've been looking forever for a sentiment like this one since this is the type of get well card I seem to need the most. Love that it comes with beautiful images too!
I'm linking this up with the Fusion Card Challenge.
I was mostly inspired by the colors in the photo, and the variety of textures. I hope that you've been inspired. I keep wondering if I should have added a couple sequins to this card so that the banner and the vase have a third element to form a triangle with. What do you think?
Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to pop in here.
