Hello and happy Friday my friends! Aren't you glad it is officially spring! I know in the NE you are having snow. That is no longer fun, I'm sure.
I have flowers on the brain and just in time for the Fab Friday Challenge! Those panels gave me lots of ideas!
I'm late posting but I have to say I had so much fun making this card that I just didn't want to quit.
Pink and green have been my colors for this week. love.
For the panels I used a strip of crystal glimmer paper, and embossing on just part of the panel.
For the flowers, I used a new technique I learned at Online Card Classes Stretch Your Dies class this week. The flowers are die cut foam. Yep! You die cut white craft foam and heat emboss the images and they shrink! I love being able to have a small, a medium and a larger flower all from the same die in the Flower Fair Framelits set.
The buds were colored with Copic markers and given a sparkly sheen with a Wink of Stella pen. I added some pearls and satin thread for bling. There is also foam behind the panel and it gives the card lots of dimension.
I'm late in posting so I'll send you on to see the other great DT projects. Happy stamping!
And please, play along with us. We love seeing your amazing creations.
