More critters from me today. I am so stuck on them right now! It must be the new grandma in me - I'm Mimi - that keeps buying sets with soft and lovable animals. Don't you love this sweet bunny reaching out with a heart? He's part of the cute Woodland Gifts set from Mama Elephant.
If you are getting tired of seeing my cute cards, come back in October when I start with more elegant Christmas images, ha! I think that's how long it might take me to get this out of my system.
I stamped the hearts background stamp from Simon Says Stamp with their new ink in Hollyhock. The striped paper is Doodlebug Kraft In Color 6X6 Paper Pack and it was die cut using MFT's Stitched Square Stax Dynamics. I did some masking with the bunny and the animals and sky were colored with Copic markers.
I added Glossy accents to the punched heart and made a slit with my craft knife to tuck it behind the bunny's paws.
I'm adding this to the MFT Summer School lesson on Composition. As the lesson suggests I used a background stamp and stripes to draw the eye downward and the triangle principle to draw the eye across the page.
I appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to stop by! I'm having a blast trying my hand at different styles and techniques, and I hope you leave feeling inspired. Sending smiles your way~
Be yourself.

Make something beautiful!
The bunny is my favorite and the coloring on him (her?) is adorable!
