I didn't have to wonder what to make last night when I had a little time to craft. Sitting there on my table was this pretty-pink-and-yellow-polka-dotted patterned paper. One look at it reminded me of cotton candy.
Perfect theme for using the Carousel horse die.
The pretty pony has subtle shimmer from a whisking of the wink of Stella pen. Of course I needed to find somewhere to use at least ONE sequin, so I made the bow from silver thread.
Have you ever bought Beautiful Candy that's too pretty to eat? Those are the words to a song I sang as Lili in the musical, Carnival. At the middle school where I taught the spring play every year was a combination of teachers and students in the main roles. Now there's a tidbit for you to nibble on, ha! The key to beautiful candy is you never eat it because it's too pretty. That is a very ancient notion, don't you think?
Enough rambling. I couldn't resist playing again with Sweet Sunday Challenge and this time I chose Sketch 264.
