Hi friends!
It's Sunday as I write this post and I actually got to stamp! AND post.
We've been vacationing all last week. We had a lovely spot in the NC mountains to stay while we enjoyed swimming and kayaking at Lake Lure. And resting. Lots of it.The rest did me a world of good, and so did the time with my loved ones - our older son and daughter and of course, my dear husband. I was able to do much more in terms of activity than I thought!
Anyway, it's always nice to come home and I had a sweet time in the craft room today. When I first went in I danced around for awhile saying over and over how much I love this happy place. Then I cleaned up the messy table I'd left behind from past projects.
On to the stamping!
I knew that I wanted to use a nautical theme with the Simon Says Stamp July 2015 Card Kit and the Sailing Stamp Set. I am joining in at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge too.
The current theme at CASology today is LINE. I added the bold striped paper and stamped the lined image from the set behind the banner on my card. I also like the lines on the lifesaver which I fussy cut and paper pieced.
This card was special. It actually was hand delivered to our daughter before I posted. A first!
Hope the day is going well for you. Thanks so much for stopping by. I have been loving the comments, I know it takes time to write and I appreciate it so much. Hugs~

Stamps: Sailing - Simon Says Stamp
Paper: Neenah Solar White, DSP from the Simon Says July 2015 Card Kit
Ink: SU - Night of Navy, Smoky Slate, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: SU - heart border punch, thick white twine, Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Circle Dies
This is a lovely sketch, and I adore what you did with it! I love how you made that banner your focal image, creating a super nautical 'line'. Gorgeous card! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!

Hi Cindy. I was perusing Stampin Connection tonight of cards featuring the Apple Blossom set (SU) and yours jumped out at me. I will never be able to go back on your blog that long ago to find out the details so I thought I would leave the link here and maybe you can tell me what the designer paper was called and the colors you used. You can email me at [email protected]. Thanks a bunch!! (I love your work!)
