Painted Pink

Hi, how are things with you today?  I have on my rose tinted glasses today as you will soon see! 

Since I had the black and white striped paper and Zig markers out on my desk last night, I pulled out the Altenew Painted Flowers set that has (never-been-used) NBUS and made a quick card. 

 

I didn't know if I could color the stamps with the Zig markers, but that is exactly what I did. I love that I have three shades of pink for this, so I gave it a try. The watercolored effect is nice and almost translucent but with bright hues. Love that! Click the picture to zoom in on the details. 

The sequins are pink metallic and look pink IRL. The sentiment from Simon Says Stamps is embossed with white.

I was inspired by the sketch this week at Sweet Sunday. 

Wow, how's that for an interesting sketch, you wonder? This week we are choosing any sketch from the past. I chose sketch 197.

Cindy, this is breath taking! I love the watercolor effect on those flowers; great idea to use all three. I am not familiar with the products you used, but I will go searching out. Just what I need...more "stuff". Hope you are doing well. Hugs my friend!
